Hi! Welcome to Outbound Threads! My name is Melissa and I have been selling clothing online since at least 2018. The timeline is a little blurry as it started as a hobby. Over time I learned how much clothing we throw away out of convenience. We’re moving or don’t have time to load it up and wait in donation lines. Sometimes we don’t know that a damaged or worn item can still have value.

Merge this with a Master’s level education in identifying and solving problems in families and communities (MS Family Ecology, U of U), and knowledge of community needs from hands-on work experience, and ta-da! Outbound Threads was born!

We’re proud to offer a simple system to gather your unwanted clothing and shoes, convenient front door pick-up, and efficient distribution of items to where they will be most impactful.
